Sculpture
I studied Life Drawing and Sculpture at Glasgow School of Art in the eighties and sculpture under Karen Bird from 2006 – 2016.
I find inspiration everywhere: the angle of a head, facial features, clothing and jewellery, age, ethnicity and attitude. I use different clays, techniques, and finishes to help me convey emotion, movement or stillness. The shapes must be evocative.
