Emporium, a contemporary gallery and exhibition space in the heart of historic Lichfield city, sought to showcase the best of British original art and designer craft.

The gallery was opened in 2012 by art graduates Amanda Moseley and Jannette Murphy who share a passion for fine contemporary art and design and have over 15 years experience of working in the arts, marketing and education.

Aidan is an artist, writer, friend and signmaker! He is the moving force behind the Star Disc. This 21st century stone circle and celestial amphitheatre inspires, entertains, engages and educates. Situated on a hill above Wirksworth in Derbyshire, it is open to all at any time throughout the year.

His book "One in a hundred" is based on his own experience of schizophrenia and is funny and poignant but also overwhelmingly positive in outlook. He has very kindly allowed us to use the book's imagery and message as the basis for a sign he is making for our studio window and door.
