The Occasional Potter
My husband Tony is a retired transport planning consultant. He throws and hand-builds unique stoneware pieces inspired by the shapes and designs of the Orient. His work therefore aims to display simple elegance and functionality and includes vases, bowls, containers and kitchen utensils. Some items are embellished with Chinese calligraphy and related motifs. Commercial glazes are used that are suitable for tableware. His other main interests are gardening and walking, so he is only The Occasional Potter.
