Ceramic dogs
Made of Ashraf Hanna professional clay, these dogs are hollow. They are made using an armature made of art straws, onto which small sheets of embossed clay are (carefully) added. When fired, the art straws literally go up in smoke, leaving a pale cream dog that can then have oxides applied for colouring, prior to a final firing.
